A few things I'm big on
Gathering real feedback from users is the most critical part of the design process. I love getting to talk with people from all walks of life and hearing about how they use products.
UI & Visual Design
I'm a skilled visual designer with an eye for graphics, typography, layout, and color. I love modern aesthetics and come from an art direction background.
Design Thinking & Problem Solving
I'm passionate about solving problems through design. Collaboration is a core part of my process and facilitating workshops and brainstorms plays a big role.
Deep understanding of interaction design and modern prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, InVision, etc. Also, very excited about the potential of 'no-code' tools like Webflow, Adalo, and Bubble for high-fidelity prototyping.
Human Behavior & Cognitive Psychology
I love staying up to date on what makes people think, act, and behave the way they do. These insights fuel my design work and help me empathize with people.
I've taken a bit of an unconventional path through my career, with stops in marketing, design, and dev, but it's forced me to really know my stuff. Continual learning has become a core tenet of my life.
"The challenge we all face is how to maintain the benefits of breadth, diverse experience, interdisciplinary thinking, and delayed concentration in a world that increasingly incentivizes, even demands, hyperspecialization."
